From Arab Street of Singapore to the Real Arab Street… soon

Of carpets and bikes & Arabian nights…

Of Hummus, Lavash & Kunefe…

From onion rings to the smoke rings of Sheesha

From music to football matches

Sweet nothings to intense conversations…

These roads around Arab Street have given me all this and more…

Walking down one such road, just felt like capturing those memories…

As I soon walk from the reel Arab Street of Singapore to the real Arab Streets of Dubai

Off for a vacation to Dubai… another world to see… different moods to feel… aromatic experiences await…

Watch this space for delectable experiences from the Arab heartlands…

In the mean times… just some memories of my favourite area in Singapore…

Have a great holiday, it’s funny how photos from the same place can give very different feels. Very resturant and bars hip feel in these photos, mine gave it more of an architectural bohemian feel. Both true of the area.

I know what you mean :D. I have always wanted to do a architectural photoshoot of Arab Street and Duxton Road… hopefully soon!

Hadn’t thought about Duxton Hill but that would be good too.

Think I need to take take a walk around/do a post on China town and little India.

I should probably find out about taking proper photos, mine are all quick point and click with my iPhone 4!

Haha… yeah thats a start… and handy too… What camera do you have? I can probably show you a few tricks…

I don’t have a camera πŸ™‚ my wife has a 4-5 year old point and shoot that only comes out for holidays
The iPhone is working at the moment but is poor in low light

You can always post process photos on your computer… checkout some post processing softwares like photoscape… free and effective :). Your light problem can be solved in post processing.
